 No Access - Isabel Web Sign is not Installed

Symptoms

You try to open Isabel via the ForPro website or via Fortis Business but the browser displays a page titled: No Access - Isabel Web Sign is not installed

Cause

1. The Isabel software is not installed on the PC or/and
2. The ActiveX component is not installed.

Resolution

1. Install Isabel WebSign 5.0 for eBusiness transactions software or/and
2. Configure Browser for ActiveX Component.

The browser needs to be configured to work with the ActiveX technology.

  1. Within the browser window go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options"
  2. Select the tab "Security" and click on the pictogram "Trusted Sites"

  3. If you use one of the standard Security Levels, then make sure the level is put to Low, Medium-Low or Medium.
  4. If you use however your own Security Level, then click on the button "Custom Level" and make sure the following options are put to Enabled or Prompt.

  5. Download signed ActiveX controls
  6. Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe
  7. Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
  8. Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

At last, close all active internet browsers and restart your PC in order to activate the new settings.

 Portal Home Page doesn't Display

 Symptoms

You enter your login credentials and select the service "ForPro Client Portal", however nothing happens and there is no error message to indicate an issue.

Cause 

It seems that you have a Pop-up Blocker installed on the computer.
Note that as a general rule you should have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed on the computer. In case you have another software installed e.g. Norton Internet Security, you will need to contact your internal IT department.

Resolution
  1. In the case you have Service Pack 2 installed on the computer:
    On the Tools menu, point to "Pop-up Blocker", and then click "Pop-up Blocker settings" and add the site to the allowed sites field or click on "Turn off Pop-up Blocker".

  2. Within the "Address of Web site to allow" box, type the address (or URL) of FortisBusiness.com, and then click on "Add".
