Fortis advised Grontmij NV on the acquisition of Carl Bro Group. Carl Bro Group is a Denmark based technical consultancy company, which has been sold by its owners in a controlled auction process.


Fortis acted as financial advisor to Strukton for the acquisition of Stork WorkSphere. Strukton is European market leader in the field of railway construction and maintenance, and is among the leaders in the Dutch market for civil engineering and major civil infrastructural works. The acquisition of WorkSphere enables Strukton to strengthen its position in the integrated projects market, in which it is market leader in the field of PPP (public-private partnerships) and facility management.
